Abi hasn't been able to see her best friend Elena very much during the summer.
She and her family were in Europe for most of the summer and then California for the rest of it. So they had one day in the middle of the two to have a play date at our house for a few hours.
They were so happy to be together.
When her mom came to pick her up I followed them around for a few minutes taking pictures.
I love this friendship and am so sad every day that they aren't in school together anymore.
