January Book Haul

I got three books in January.

The first one was The Martian by Andy Weir.

I used my January Audible credit for The Martian and have started listening to it but haven't got very far yet. Hopefully I will make a dent in it (or even better, finish it) in February. I really want to see the movie but I wanted to read the book first.

I pre ordered Mr. Lemoncello's Library Olympics by Chris Grabenstein as soon as I knew it was available.

With both Abi and I enjoying the first one we knew we wanted to read the second one.
Abigail had it read within a couple of days of its arrival and really liked it. I'm hoping to get to it sometime in the next few months.

And the last book I bought was a hard copy of The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield.

You will probably remember that I had it as an audio version already but I loved it so much (one of my top ten last year) that I knew I wanted a copy for my shelves.

That's it!
Did you get any new books this month?

I think I might need to read "Mr. Lemoncello's Library". Let me know what you think about "The Martian". I heard from Greg's family (Austin) that the movie was great. I want to see it too.

So far I really like it. It is pretty funny even with the serious subject matter. I like the narrator. I would probably be done with it if I was like you and willing to go out in the cold. All my workouts have been indoors lately because I look outside and contemplate walking and tell myself nope. So hopefully it will get warmer soon and I can resume my morning walks and be able to listen to my audio books more.
I think you would enjoy Mr. Lemoncello's library.
