Another exciting thing that happened in May was the release of the new Zelda game. Doug and the girls have been waiting for this for years, literally.
We finished school before it was set to get here and Doug went to the store and bought a bunch of treats. Maddy made a small stuffed animal a guardians costume.
I made them pose with the game before beginning play. They all want to play it eventually, but decided to let Abi play it through first while watching since she is the most into it. It took a couple of weeks to finish it, but there are a lot of side quests that will be worked on for the foreseeable future. She mainly did the main quest/storyline to completion. They played most of the weekend (Abi has a rule for herself that she doesn't play video games on Sunday) and then after that Abi would do smaller things while Doug was at work and then do the big things and most of the main play once Doug got home.
