We are in our new house!

We moved into our new home a week ago. 

The last few weeks have been such a blur. 

They have been spent packing and cleaning up the basement apartment, cleaning up and preparing this home and then slowly bringing over boxes as soon as we closed. Then the big move day. 

And now unpacking and trying to set up our new place. 

I haven't had much time for anything else and in fact, yesterday afternoon I sat down to read for twenty minutes and it was the first time I read in over two weeks!

I made myself sit down to read a chapter this morning as well and then decided I would do a trip post (see below!) before getting back to work. 

I though while I was at it I might as well do a little update. 

We love our new house and our new neighborhood so far. The girls have already played with other kids and we have met quite a few of our neighbors and they all seem great.

I set up the girls bedrooms first and then the kitchen. 

This week I have finally got the family room and my library together. 

Doug has made good progress on his office which is why I finally have a computer to post on!

Today I will tackle the mudroom and then head upstairs to work in our bedroom and the bathrooms/ laundry room/ hallways. I hope to have all of those done by the weekend and then be able to tackle the playroom over the weekend. 

When I am done I will post more about how this whole thing came about and post the pictures of our home. Little previews are on Instagram/ facebook but I will do more later!
